• Mineral County voters shake up BOE, state senate and support incumbent delegates (wvnews.com) — Mineral County voters around Keyser delivered a major shakeup to the Board of Education, electing newcomers Bret Ridgel and Gordon Brubaker alongside incumbent Terry Puffinburger in a very low-turnout primary. Local ballots also favored state senate challenger Mark Harman, while incumbent Delegates Gary Howell and Rick Hillenbrand advanced to November, with several races still awaiting official canvass certification.
