ā¢ BOE approves auction; sells FIS building to Christian academy (wvnews.com) ā In a key move for local education and property use, the Mineral County Board of Education in Keyser approved selling the former Frankfort Intermediate School building to Messiah Christian Academy for $515,000 and will re-auction the remaining parcels. The board also plans to keep Wiley Fordās land and lease it to Mineral County Parks & Rec so public ballfields remain available.

ā¢ Keyser second, Frankfort third in golf season opener at Valley View (wvnews.com) ā Keyser Highās golf team opened the season strong at Valley View in Moorefield, finishing second behind Hampshire and ahead of Mineral County rival Frankfort. Senior Ryan Pratt led Keyser with a 40, while Ian Smith and Monk Garland also cracked the top 10, signaling a deep Golden Tornado lineup for the 2026 campaign. Ā Ā Ā
