• Logan County schools investigating minor bus accident (wowktv.com) — Students from Wilkinson and Cherry Tree heading to Logan Middle and Logan High were involved in a minor school bus crash Wednesday morning, but no injuries were reported. Logan County EMS checked every student as a precaution, then they were transferred to another bus and taken on to school while officials continue reviewing the incident.
   

• Logan County Sheriff's Office receives more than $16K from State Treasurer Pack (wtap.com) — Logan County residents should know their Sheriff's Office just received over $16,000 in unclaimed property funds that could help pay for needed equipment. State Treasurer Larry Pack also highlighted that Logan County has millions more in unclaimed listings, meaning many locals may be owed money and can search the state's database to check.
   

• Barbara Hollandsworth Clay Woodard (suncommercial.com) — A woman born in Logan in 1928, and a Mann High School graduate, has passed away after a long life devoted to education and family. Her career took her from West Virginia classrooms to university-level work in Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana, and her family invites friends to a memorial service and burial in Sullivan, Indiana on October 10.
