A Maryland animal group is swamped with 300 dogs to care for from a reputed Eastern Shore puppy mill, say authorities.

Wicomico County Animal Control said Tuesday the dogs were surrendered after a kennel inspection. The State’s Attorney is evaluating whether charges will be filed.
