• Police identify Huntsville man hit by car, killed Saturday night (whnt.com) — Huntsville police have identified 33-year-old Jacob Charles Hartsell as the man killed Saturday night after a vehicle struck him near Meridian Street and King Avenue. Investigators say he entered the road outside a crosswalk, the driver stayed on scene, and no charges are expected at this time, while his family honors him through a golf-focused memorial fund.
