Return to yesteryear at the handsomely furnished Meyers House, Alameda’s only historic home open for tours. Your $5.00 admission includes a tour of the house, an architectural exhibit, a look at the studio where architects Henry Meyers and his daughter, Mildred, worked, and a carriage house gallery dedicated to the works of early Alameda artist Edwin Siegfried, (1889-1955) noted for his paintings of the salt marshes that once lined Alameda. Docents are on hand to point out items of particular interest and answer questions. We open at 1:00 pm. Last admission to begin touring is 3:00 pm. We are open Saturday, April 25th and located at 2021 Alameda Avenue.
