At Coastline Christian Schools in Alameda, summer is more than a break—it’s a chance to grow, build confidence, and get ahead.

Our Summer Program is open to the entire community for students entering 1st–8th grade. We invite you to experience a summer that combines strong academics with engaging, hands-on fun.

We offer flexible scheduling options to meet your family’s needs:
• Full-Day Program (8:30 AM–3:00 PM)
• Morning Academics Only (8:30 AM–11:30 AM)
• Afternoon Camps Only (12:00 PM–3:00 PM)

Morning Academics: A Head Start for Fall

Each morning, students focus on math and English Language Arts with instruction designed to preview the next grade level. Our goal is to reinforce essential skills, introduce new concepts, and help students enter the fall confident and prepared.

Elementary (1st–5th Grade) students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and math foundations through direct instruction, discussion, and hands-on learning.

Middle School (6th–8th Grade) students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through focused math and language arts courses that deepen understanding and prepare them for the academic challenges ahead.

Afternoon Camps: Learn, Create, Compete

Afternoons are filled with engaging experiences that keep students active and inspired.

Elementary students rotate through a variety of camps including STEM challenges, creative arts, literacy exploration, and team games.

Middle school students choose a focused pathway each cycle:
• Game Ready Skills & Training Camp (football, soccer, volleyball)
• Think & Create Camp (AI tools, speech & debate, journalism, creative writing, cooking, and more)

Families may also extend the day with our optional Vacation Bible School program, offering a safe and encouraging space for faith, character development, and community.
