Suspect Tried To Rob Woman Near BART Station

OAKLAND, CA — A suspect attempted to rob a female victim Saturday morning in Oakland, according to police.

The attempted robbery occurred at 11 a.m. in the 3300 block of East 12th Street near the Fruitvale BART station, police said.

The suspect tried to rob the victim, but was unsuccessful. The victim was not injured, police said.

The suspect remains at large, police said.
