• Proposed Healdsburg Tasting Room, Winery Live Music Parties Back On Agenda Tuesday (patch.com) — Healdsburg residents have another chance to weigh in as the Planning Commission considers extending approvals for a controversial Foss Street tasting room that could displace existing businesses and add live music downtown. Commissioners will also revisit Seghesio Winery's request for larger events and amplified outdoor music on Grove Street, with staff recommending limits on event size and frequency to address noise, parking, and neighborhood impacts.
   

• Sobriety Stop Leads To Loaded Gun In Healdsburg (patch.com) — Healdsburg police say a traffic stop for a sobriety check on Highway 101 led to the discovery of a loaded, unserialized handgun, six magazines, and 77 rounds of .45-caliber ammunition within the driver's reach. Officers arrested a Santa Rosa man, identified as a convicted felon barred from having guns or ammunition, after also spotting suspected drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
   

• prep-football-big-expectations-new-realignment-shake-up-and-other-storylines-for-new-season (modbee.com) — Healdsburg High's football team is moving into a newly realigned REC-Mountain league designed to group more evenly matched programs, including several that went winless last season. With just three combined winning seasons in five years among Healdsburg, Justin-Siena, and Montgomery, the shake-up could finally give Greyhound fans a more competitive, confidence-building fall campaign.
