Motorcyclist ID'd in Deadly I-5 Crash Near Tustin
CHP officials say the man was riding a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja on the freeway southbound in the HOV lane when he struck a 2006 Ford F150.

TUSTIN, CA - The 23-year-old motorcyclist who was killed when he crashed into a truck on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in the Tustin area was identified by authorities Friday.
The crash occurred about 7 a.m. Thursday near the El Modena Wash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist, identified by the Orange County coroner's office as Matthew Limas of Whittier, was riding a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja on the freeway southbound in the HOV lane when he struck a 2006 Ford F150, which had stopped suddenly due to traffic congestion, according to the CHP.

The pickup truck's rear axle and tires veered slightly into the HOV lane, according to the CHP. Limas was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
