UPDATE On Elderly Driver Hitting CVS: Pedestrian Injured
The accident was this morning at the store at Treat Boulevard and Bancroft Road.

An elderly motorist slammed into a store in Walnut Creek this morning and the flying debris from the crash injured a pedestrian, a police lieutenant said.
The incident occurred at 10:18 a.m. at a CVS pharmacy in the Countrywood Shopping Center at 738 Bancroft Road, Lt. Lanny Edwards said.
Edwards said an 86-year-old man was experiencing confusion and may have mistaken the gas pedal for his brake when he sent his vehicle careening into the store’s exterior.
