Dreamy View Of Golden Gate Bridge: Photo Of The Day

Would you like to snap a similar photo? We'll tell you exactly where this was taken.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The Golden Gate Bridge is commonly called one of the most photographed bridges in the world, although we could not find actual statistics to back up the claim. Looking at the photos stored on my cell phone, I know that I have contributed to the glut!

But none of my photos compare to the one shown above - a true work of art taken by Patch reader William Auyeung. He took the photo at Marshall Beach in the city of San Francisco at sunset. Thanks for telling us where you took the photo, William! We can retrace your footsteps and try our hands at catching a similar masterpiece.

William is a registered nurse in the emergency department of Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara. He sent other photos that he took around Northern California. Look for more of his photos in the weekend roundup published on Sundays by Patch editor Maggie Avants.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.

We’re looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents.

Post it for free in our bulletin board section on the site or email it to autumn.johnson@patch.com.
