Car Slams Into Tree in San Leandro
Three teens were in the car when it crashed Wednesday.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Three teens survived a scare Wednesday when their car crashed into a tree at a high rate of speed.
San Leandro Police say all three teens were out of the car when they arrived at the crash scene, shortly after 3 p.m. Fire Dept. personnel checked out the teens to make sure that no one was injured.
The accident happened on Glen Drive near Begier Avenue.

Police say the car was going at a high rate of speed into the turn on Glen Drive when the driver lost control and struck the tree.
