More East Bay Firefighters Deploy To North Bay
They are battling multiple, fierce fires that have devastated Napa and Sonoma counties.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA - Firefighters from the Alameda County, Livermore-Pleasanton and Fremont fire departments have deployed to the North Bay to help battle wildfires that have ravaged Napa and Sonoma counties and beyond.
The firefighters are part of Office of Emergency Services Strike Teams.
Homes, businesses and agricultural building have burned. At least 1,500 structures have been lost.

Schools and college classes have been canceled. Roads are closed. Two hospitals have been evacuated.
There is one confirmed death, plus there are reports that firefighters have been injured, but the type of injuries and severity is unknown.
