Kyle Navin's Arrest Affidavit Reveals Shocking New Details in Missing Easton Couple Case
The FBI released the text conversation between Kyle and Jeffrey Navin in which Jeffrey said he will be framed for his wife's disappearance.
The son of the Easton couple who have been missing since Aug. 4 was arrested on federal gun charges Tuesday and officials have released shocking details from the arrest affidavit, according to the Hartford Courant.
Kyle Navin, 27, of Bridgeport, is currently being detained after his arrest for possession of a firearm by an individual who is an unlawful user of, or addicted to, a controlled substance.
According to the Courant’s report, the Federal Bureau of Investigations have released the Aug. 4 text conversation between Navin and his father, Jeffrey:

During a search of Kyle Navin’s Bridgeport home on Aug. 13, investigators found two firearms and rounds of ammunition. During a second search on Aug. 19 investigators found glassine baggies with heroin residue, hypodermic needles, empty bottles of oxycodone and Xanax.
They also found a Home Depot receipt from Aug. 5 at 8:36 p.m. that showed Kyle Navin purchased bleach, drain opener, Goo Gone stain remover and cleanup bags.
Police say Kyle Navin is a suspect in his parents’ disappearance but he has not been charged.
