244 More Coronavirus Cases In PG County: New Numbers By Zip Code
Prince George's County is breaking down the latest numbers of positive coronavirus cases in the county by ZIP code.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — On Friday morning, the Maryland Department of Health confirmed 244 new cases of the new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, in the Prince George's County. That brings the overall total to 2,966 cases, the most of any county in the state. The overall number of deaths in the county due to virus is 77.
In the past day, 754 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Maryland, state health officials said. Now there are 11,572 confirmed cases statewide and 425 deaths.
The Maryland Department of Health is releasing information about the new coronavirus by ZIP Code and the PG Heath Department began reporting that information on its website.

PG County Executive Angela Alsobrooks issued an executive order saying that all county residents must wear a mask or face covering when shopping at PG County grocery stores, pharmacies and large chain retailers. This order applies to both shoppers and employees of the stores.
