9 New Coronavirus Deaths In DC; Total Cases Exceed 2,300
D.C. Health officials confirmed nine deaths caused by the coronavirus, bringing the total number in the District to 81.
WASHINGTON, DC — The D.C. Department of Health confirmed nine new deaths Wednesday related to the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, bringing the total number of District deaths caused by the virus to 81. D.C. Health also confirmed 153 new positive cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases in the District to 2,350.
To date, the District has conducted 12,150 coronavirus tests and 552 people have recovered.
