Joe Biden declared during his farewell address that an “oligarchy” of the “ultra-wealthy” and powerful is forming that “threatens our entire democracy,” per right-leaning Breitbart.
Joe Biden issued his warning while speaking to the American public from the Oval Office for the final time.

The left-leaning Associated Press (AP) provided this video clip of that part of Biden's remarks.


Per AP's YouTube page for the above: "...Joe Biden used his farewell address to the nation Wednesday evening to warn of an “oligarchy” of the ultra-wealthy taking root in the country and of a “tech-industrial complex” that is infringing on Americans’ rights and the future of democracy."

On the AP website, they reported the remarks like this.

“Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead,” Biden said, drawing attention to “a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a few ultra-wealthy people and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power is left unchecked.”

Invoking President Dwight Eisenhower’s warnings about the rise of a military-industrial complex when he left office in 1961, Biden added, “I’m equally concerned about the potential rise of a tech-industrial complex that could pose real dangers to our country as well.”

Thanks, Joe. That was curiously useful. It just may be that you saved the best for last. This writer for ManufacturedHomeProNews and this Patch is among numbers of other observers that have made similar observations for years.

This is an apparent example of paltering and projecting in action. That from Biden is a possible example of doublespeak and doublethink.
