“Dr. Marty Makary is a surgeon and public policy researcher at Johns Hopkins University. He writes for The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.” That’s according to the John Hopkins University website. That source also states: “Johns Hopkins, founded in 1876, is America's first research university and home to nine world-class academic divisions working together as one university.” Left-leaning Wikipedia said: “Martin Adel Makary is a British-American surgeon, professor, author, and medical commentator. He practices surgical oncology and gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, is Mark Ravitch Chair in Gastrointestinal Surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and teaches public health policy as Professor of Surgery and Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.” So, Makary is a well known medical doctor and respected medical policy specialist who said the following. "RFK Jr is the least ‘scary’ thing happening to the US health system," according to remarks he made on Fox News Sunday, on November 17, 2024. Oddly, many on the left are 'melting down' by the notion that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a nearly lifelong Democrat and liberal, has been named by President-elect Donald J. Trump and his transition team as his pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Matt Antar tweeted: "RFK Jr. is a scary choice only to a society that has been made to be absolutely petrified of acute infection (covid, flu, measles, chicken pox etc) but accepts *far scarier* chronic conditions (obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, etc.) as normal."

Johns Hopkins School of Medicine professor Dr. Marty Makary joined ‘Fox News Sunday’ to break down Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s plan to uproot the U.S.’ health policies. Dr. Makary said the following.

Washington this week with some of his

cabinet nominations including Robert F
0:06

Kennedy Jr as Health and Human Services
0:09

secretary puts his controversial views
0:11

right back into the spotlight well
0:12

joining me now John Hopkins Professor Dr
0:15

Marty McCary also the author of blind
0:18

spots when medicine gets it wrong and
0:20

what it means for our health drct good
0:22

to have you back on foxy okay you've
0:24

spent time with RFK Jr you know his
0:26

controversial views you know what
0:27

critics are beating him up about right
0:29

now a a a piece by an MD over at the
0:32

Washington Post says this he's either
0:33

unable to understand the scientific
0:35

process that forms the basis of modern
0:37

medicine or he purposefully ignores the
0:40

research when conclusions don't support
0:42

his preconceived notions either
0:44

explanation is disqualifying for someone
0:47

overseeing the nation's health and
0:49

science well I think if we listen to
0:51

what he's talking about he's very clear
0:52

about what he wants to do number one he
0:54

wants to address corruption in
0:56

healthcare and corruption in our
0:58

government Health agencies a lot of
0:59

people don't like that message and
1:00

they're threatened by it number two he
1:02

wants to get back to evidence-based
1:04

research and he wants to fund research
1:06

that's going to answer the big questions
1:08

of our day and number three he wants to
1:10

address the child chronic disease
1:12

epidemic a lot of people are concerned
1:14

food supply is poisoned and kids are
1:16

growing up in a toxic millu and we're
1:18

drugging kids at scale as the American
1:20

Academy Pediatrics is pushing those zic
1:22

and six-year-olds he is talking about
1:24

health and chronic diseases it shouldn't
1:26

be a political message and I think
1:27

you're seeing a lot of people unite
1:29

around that message parents it was
1:31

effective on the campaign and I think
1:32

they're delivering on that now and I
1:34

have seen those within the medical
1:35

community your peers as well saying we
1:37

do agree with him on a lot of that stuff
1:39

those are conversations we need to have
1:41

but they're very worried about his
1:43

authority over agencies that are very
1:45

important when it comes to things like
1:46

vaccines and public health I would say
1:49

people should not dissect what he said
1:51

30 years ago and listen to what he's
1:53

saying now he's saying very clearly he's
1:55

not antia he's not going to remove or
1:57

take away anyone's vaccines and what is
2:00

and dangerous to health is not RFK Jr
2:03

it's what people just witnessed it's the
2:05

food pyramid lie that's been out there
2:07

for 60 years it's the medical
2:09

establishment that lied to us about
2:10

opioids for 20 years saying it was not
2:12

addictive it was the vaccine mandates
2:14

ignoring natural immunity cloth mask on
2:16

toddlers that's what's driving a lot of
2:19

the distrust in the medical
2:20

establishment it's not RFK Jr uh there
2:23

are also those who object within the
2:25

Republican party because of his issues
2:27

on abortion his positions there former
2:29

vice president Pence now with American
2:30

Freedom um put this on X he says he
2:33

would be the most pro-abortion
2:34

Republican appointed Secretary of HHS in
2:37

modern history says I'm respectfully
2:39

urging Senate Republicans to reject this
2:41

nomination so there's the abortion issue
2:43

too for conservatives that they have
2:44

some concerns about with him yeah I I
2:46

don't speak for him I don't know his
2:47

views on abortion but I do know his
2:49

views on addressing a lot of these
2:51

chronic diseases and and the issues of
2:53

the food supply if you look at the path
2:56

that we are on as a country it's not a
2:58

good path we're watching watching so
3:00

many of these chronic diseases go up
3:02

early onset Alzheimer's has tripled uh
3:05

cancer in young people under age 50 has
3:08

gone up by 79% we're looking at half of
3:11

our nation's children are sick we're
3:13

looking at 40% of our nation's children
3:15

now with a mental health diagnosis one
3:18

in five kids is on a medication so what
3:20

he is really focused on is this concept
3:23

that we can't keep drugging our nation's
3:24

children going down this path that's
3:26

what's dangerous really quickly I if he
3:28

were to be confirmed to this position
3:30

how much Authority would he have to make
3:31

real progress on all those things you
3:33

mentioned in maybe four years I think he
3:35

wants to bring in a lot of scientists
3:37

from highly respected institutions and
3:40

let them do good work and I think that's
3:42

the the focus he is really the
3:44

quintessential environmental health
3:46

attorney of our era and that may be the
3:48

quintessential issue of our era if we
3:50

look at our status in terms of health
3:53

the central issue in healthcare is the
3:55

health of the population it's not health
3:57

insurance and how we Finance the broker
3:59

healthare system it's how we fix it and
4:02

so for the first time ever we're now
4:03

seeing a focus on addressing the health
4:06

of our nation's children and the chronic4:08

disease epidemic and that's exciting a4:10

lot of people well for a lot of people4:11

it's a shock to the system so we'll see4:13

how this plays out doctor always good to4:15

see you good to see you so much ..."

On left-leaning CNN, there was the following discussion about RFK Jr. being named to head HHS.

"CNN is hosting an on-air struggle session over Trump's selection of @RobertKennedyJr
to lead HHS.

But @ScottJenningsKY
isn't having it.

Jennings shuts down the CNN panelists' attacks on RFK Jr. and gives everyone a reminder about why Trump voters rebuked the public health bureaucracy.

GEOFF DUNCAN: “RFK Jr. is a nut."

JENNINGS: “Let's get to the real issue here, which is you want to insult the man... Public trust in the health regime in this country is as low as it's ever been.”

JOHN AVION: “But why?”

JENNINGS: “Because of COVID! Because of school closures. Because of mask mandates... Because this country was drugged through a bunch of condescending and heavy-handed mandates that all turned out to be garbage. And that's why it's low and the questions are valid.”

AVION: “RFK helped promote the assault on the CDC that lowered [public trust].”

JENNINGS: “No, the CDC led to its own demise!”

So not only does this CNN exchange show the real purpose of the RFK Jr. smears, but it also exposes the massive disconnect between "elites" and the American people.

It wasn't the American people but the "elites" who botched the Covid response; this led to the collapse of trust in the public health bureaucracy.

In the 2024 election, Trump voters rejected the D.C. status quo, and refuted the entire premise that these people are "elites" to begin with. ..."

This writer for MHProNews and the Patch brought to our reader's attention McCakary's views two months ago on September 18.

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

To be clear, this writer disagrees with RFK Jr. on issues purported stance on abortion. That said, I've followed his concerns on behalf of the youth of America and the chronic disease epidemic for years. Bobby Kennedy Jr. is an attorney. He and his colleagues at Children's Health Defense have raised some important evidence-based concerns. Good attorneys understand debate and evidence. Kennedy has won some big cases over the years. He is nobody's fool. This quote from him was posted over 3 years ago on MHProNews on April 5, 2021. It was part of a report found on MHLivingNews.

https://www.manufacturedhomeli...

https://www.manufacturedhomeli...

When Kennedy announced as a Democratic candidate for president in 2023, Manufactured Home Pro News (MHProNews) ran an article on the event. He raised important issues.

Several months later, Kennedy - then a lifelong Democrat - announced that due to purported sabotage by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was going to run as an independent. MHProNews reported that RFK Jr.'s concerns were similar to the ones raised by former Senator Bernie Sanders (VT-Democratic Socialist) supporter Donna Brazile.

https://www.manufacturedhomepr...

https://www.manufacturedhomepr...

There are aspects of Kennedy's personal life that could be described as potentially troubling. But let's be candid. Much of Washington, D.C. leadership would be out of a job if they were all held to a standard that said someone's sex life is a reason for removal. That doesn't make questionable personal decisions unimportant. They are important. But they should be considered as part of a total picture about how suited a person is to do a specific job. Let's not forget that historically ex-Nazis were used by the U.S. and other countries' governments to develop key elements of our space program and nuclear programs.

On Manufactured Home Living News (MHLivingNews) we posted a report with several highly recommended documentary videos. One of those videos was a different look at the American diet and health crisis. It is an issue that should transcend politics.

https://www.manufacturedhomeli...

So, why is there so much push-back against Kennedy's health agenda? Simple. Big business interests have largely taken over the federal institutions that 'regulate' health. Because they are major advertisers, much of mainstream media won't expose the evidence-based issues as they might otherwise, out of fear of losing advertising dollars.

https://www.manufacturedhomepr...

Kennedy was similarly censored and smeared as Trump. Think about that point. Trump, former Democrat turned Republican. Kennedy, lifelong Democrat turned independent. Both were censored and often unjustly smeared because they were working on behalf of others to expose corruption in the U.S. government. Trump is more on the right, Kennedy more from the left. Both were smeared and censored on social media. Both were attacked by the Biden-Harris regime.

The American people voted for change. Beyond the election, some 70 percent of the country says the nation is on the wrong track.

To learn more about the transition nominees, see the reports linked below.

According to Camus via X.

Dr. Marty Makary: "A 20% increase in obesity among kids who had taken an antibiotic in the first two years of life. 21% increase in learning disabilities. These were all the statistically significant findings. 32% increase in attention deficit disorder. A 90% increase in asthma and a 289% increase in celiac."

"Other studies have shown a correlation between antibiotics early in childhood and ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Makes sense. We're changing the microbiome. We may be carpet bombing the microbiome with the dogma that there are no downsides to antibiotics. You got some sniffles, it probably won't help you, but it won't hurt you. Not true."

The health crisis in the U.S. is evidence-based. An array of health issues plague this nation. Many countries who are 'poorer' financially have better health than our population does.
