Richard Blakley-Let's play Clue to Determine Cause of Democrats' Loss

'Was it Nancy, with a knife-in-the-back relationship, in the White House?' Was it the Lady on ABC's The View? Was it George Clooney? DNC?

In case you've never played the game: "Clue is a murder mystery board game where players work together to solve a crime by identifying the perpetrator, weapon, and location," explains left-leaning Google's AI powered Gemini. According to his bio from the WND News Center, which made this column that follows available to MHProNews and this contributor for the Patch, "Richard Blakley is a Ph.D. Inorganic Chemist and an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Following Blakley's thoughts on why Kamala Harris (D) lost there will be some additional ones from moi on a related subject.

Let's play Clue to determine who caused Democrats' loss

'Was it Nancy, with a knife-in-the-back relationship, in the White House?'
By Richard Blakley | November 14, 2024

My family and I have always enjoyed the game of Clue, especially the Clue FX Electronic 3D Mansion Mystery Board Game.

Watching the Democrats pointing fingers concerning their election loss is like watching a game of Clue. Who caused the Democrat loss in the election? What weapon did he use to execute this heinous crime? And what room was he in?

So, who are the players? We have Nancy Pelosi, George Clooney, The DNC, Tim Walz, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Taylor Swift and "The View," as well as others.

Let's play Clue with these people to determine who caused the Democrat loss.

Our first suspect is Nancy Pelosi. Changing Biden's mind about a second term, Pelosi is termed a "key figure," in an upcoming book by Jonathan Alter, entitled "American Reckoning: Inside Trump's Trial – and My Own." Apparently, Nancy drew on her 40-year "friendship" with Biden to get him to change his mind about running again for office. Before the debate, Nancy called Biden several times to gently ease him out of the race, but Biden remained determine to stay. Some say Nancy executed a "coup" effort to move Biden aside. One of Nancy's "friends" told Alter that the former speaker is so smooth, "She'll cut your head off, and you'll never even know." I know Nancy had said she wanted to put Joe's head on Mount Rushmore, but I thought she meant a carving. A Pelosi "insider" reportedly told Alter that Nancy "wasn't happy that the only bloody fingerprints on the knife were hers." That sounds incriminating. So, maybe in our Clue game, it was Nancy, with a knife-in-the-back relationship, in the White House.

Our next suspect is actor George Clooney. Clooney hosted a Hollywood fundraiser for Biden's re-election. Showing his priorities, Biden skipped out on a Ukrainian peace summit to attend the event. Two weeks later Clooney wrote a New York Times op-ed telling Biden to "step aside," calling him a "vegetable." Now Clooney is "being attacked by despairing fans," Breitbart reports, after Harris' humiliating defeat. One critic wrote on X, "I would like to take a moment to thank George Clooney for shoving the most incompetent candidate down America's throat to ensure a Trump victory." Clooney has now stated that he feels he is being used as a scapegoat in the furious blame game over who cost the Democrats the election. Clooney now says he will take a step back from politics. So, maybe in our Clue game it was Clooney, with an op-ed, after the Hollywood fundraiser.

Our next suspect is the Democratic National Committee. Concerning what cost Democrats the election, DNC official Lindy Li stated, "Tim Walz was a bad choice of running mate. Shapiro would have carried the blue-wall states. … [Instead of moderate Shapiro, Harris] went with someone actually to her left. … Walz was the governor who oversaw the protests." So, the DNC threw the folksy Minnesota governor under the bus.

Concerning Harris' response to questions, Li said, "She knows it was a mistake to say on 'The View' that she couldn't think of a single thing that she would do differently from the Biden administration." So, the DNC threw Harris, too, under the bus. Previously having thrown Biden under the bus, it must be getting crowded under there.

Perhaps the real problem was the DNC itself. They picked Harris, who was a clone of Biden, meaning she was never going to be able to say she represented change, because in fact, she did not. Even Biden said he delegated everything to her from domestic to foreign policy, meaning, the current policies are Harris' policies. But as Red State says, "[Harris] never should have been the nominee … [but] that's what happens when you rig the primary process and then coronate the worst politician in history." So, maybe in our Clue game it was the DNC, with Harris, in the candidate position.

Not to miss a good accusation, maybe it was "The View," with the simple, obvious question posed on nationwide television.

Then we have Taylor Swift, who deranged "comedian" Kathy Griffin, accused of being a prime suspect causing Harris' bruising loss. Griffin says it is all Swift's fault, because the singer didn't do an event with Harris in Pennsylvania. Maybe Harris didn't offer Swift $1 million like she paid Oprah and many other celebrities who "supported" Harris. I think Swift is innocent. Any young lady working so hard that she can't remember to put her pants on before performing, I don't think could be guilty of the crime.

Two other suspects could be Joe Biden, donning a MAGA hat in the fire station, or Jill Biden, wearing a Republican-red pantsuit on Election Day.

Let's open the envelope of our Clue game and see who the culprit is. Well, surprise! It is all of them, like a circular firing squad. But the reason for the colossal failure of the Democratic Party was captured by Democrat Bill Mahr who, concerning party elites, said, (9:02 in video): "You're brats and you're snobs, and people just don't like that."

There may be another reason the Democratic Party lost, and that reason is, simply, that Trump won. People are tired of Democrat leaders' high gas prices that drove inflation through the roof. People are tired of wasteful spending. People are tired of Democrat leaders forcing unwanted things on society. People are tired of people who can't tell a boy from a girl and "follow the science," except when pushing their perversion. People are tired of Democrat leaders destroying our country.

So, they voted for Trump. Pretty simple.

Now Dr. Amanda Calhoun, (10:45 in video) Yale University child psychologist, in an interview with MSNBC's Joy Reid, tells people it is perfectly fine not to be around Trump supporters during the holidays, and of course the "ladies" at "The View" all agreed.

That may be all for the best, because if people with these radicalized beliefs did come over for the holidays, and if we all decided to play Clue, they would probably cheat.

Part II - Additional Thoughts and Information

There are some who think that Kamala Harris' (D) career as a politician is over. Sorry to disappoint those who think so, but call me a skeptic on that point. There is already talk that she is the 'frontrunner' to be California's next governor. If so, don't be surprised to see her back on the national scene, if she should win that blue-state job. That is said not to undercut Blakley's creative presentation, but it is shared as a reality check. Some on the right are making too much of the Harris-Walz and Democratic loss. They are already working to thwart President-elect Donald J. Trump's plan, starting with members of his proposed cabinet.

Blakley's creative approach to using the board game Clue is useful in part because it brings out several items that in some cases obviously undermined Harris' effort. Pre-election, this writer posed the question: whose side was Joe Biden on? Harris' or Trump's?

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

Opinions are a dime a dozen. Some are cogent and presented with facts, evidence, and sound analysis (FEA). Others are like condiments on a burger or hot dog. Which ones do you like? While taste is personal, selecting candidates for office ought to be based on serious matters. Be it a local, state, or federal elective office, the candidates should be chosen with thought and care.

Joe Biden had a point when he said that the 2020 and 2024 elections were battles for the soul of America. I've never sat down with Blakley to discuss his biblical views. My hunch is we would agree on some things, disagree on others. But we must remember that when it comes to politics, my 80 percent friend is not my 20 percent enemy.

It has been observed that Trump is picking several younger faces to staff his pending administration. Often, a vice president or members of a cabinet end up as presidential or other candidates later. Some opponents are already concerned that Senator J.D. Vance (OH-R), the vice-president-elect for Trump, could end up as the GOP (a.k.a.: Grand Old Party or Republican Party) pick in 2028. There would be 12 years of Trump-style MAGA (a.k.a.: Make America Great Again) policies ahead. Perhaps. Time will tell. But what is certain is that the nation is closely divided. Powerful tech and media forces can take an even so-so candidate and make them president, or nearly so.

A few years ago, this writer for MHProNews took a left-leaning New York survey and reveal how it could be used to bring together some on the political left with those on the center-right to form a durable coaliation that could truly advance the U.S.A. Left-leaning publications and media often present accurate information, but may do so in a way that obscures other facts, and thus leaves an unwarranted impression on their readers, viewers, or listeners. The example below is a case in point of paltering.

Every post this writer has shared has had a specific, and hopefully, educational purpose. Paltering, posturing, and projection, as well as "deception and misdirection" are more accurate terms that explain how "fake news" works. It is usually not a case of everything in the story being 'fake.' It is leaving out or emphasizing some element that shapes a narrative that benefits one person or party over another.

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

The way to make sure that the 2026 midterm elections go well is to start today sharing these items with your friends. We should never have to face another election where faceless billionaires and their corporate interests are picking candidates from behind an obscured curtain. It is stunning that Democrats were able to run a campaign saying Trump was a threat to democracy when Democrats gave their voters a candidate who did not run in the primaries. That was obviously un-democratic. It was also hypocritical for Democratic backers to accuse Trump of potentially going after his political rivals with federal resources when that was precisely what Democrats did against him with their campaign of lawfare at the local, state, and federal levels. That's Orwellian doublethink and doublespeak in action.

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

As a political independent and 15-year digital publisher who consumes much more news from across the left-center-right spectrum than the typical American (not bragging, simply a fact - which is sometimes, a sad fact), I can make the argument that Trump upended the Bush wing of the Republican party. That was a good thing. But for Democrats, their party has been hijacked by the leftist wing of their party. They can do that because far-left candidates like Harris can be run and made to look like a moderate, when she was anything but moderate.

Harris was in several sobering ways anti-Catholic and anti-Christian. She made that clear herself.

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

Yet, because of the power of big media, big tech, and the related corporate-DNC-governmental nexus, Harris came closer to becoming the next president than many would want to admit. We should thank God she lost.

https://patch.com/florida/lake...

The hard job of governing lies ahead. In a difficult time, Trump may well be the best man for the job. There have been millions of closet Trump supporters. One of them came out of the closet and spoke out, actor Sylvestor Stallone.

The better we as a people, in towns like Lakeland, Bartow, or Winter Haven or anywhere else in the U.S. grasp how we are routinely manipulated, the less likely we face such a troubling choice in a future election.

I'm working on some special reports that will be eye-opening to thinkers reading this and other articles. Watch for it. If you do, you will have more than a CLUE as to how to pick better candidates and get a country that uplifts opportunities for all Americans, not just the wealthy and connected.
