Last Saturday found the conservative Moms For Liberty's national convention and the Florida Democratic Party's Leadership Blue 2022 summit both meeting at the same downtown Tampa hotel with appearances by national and state leaders from both sides of the aisle, including Florida Democratic Congress members Fentrice Driskell and Charlie Crist and outspoken Republicans U.S. Sen. Rick Scott and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Meanwhile, outside the hotel, pro-rights advocates staged a massive demonstration.
