David Weekley Homes Has Third Forsyth County Community in the Works

After enjoying successful launches at Settingdown Farms and Meadow Brook Farms in Cumming, award-winning David Weekley Homes announced today that it will add a third Forsyth County community to the mix over the months to come. With a projected launch date of Winter 2026, Heritage Oaks will be a gated enclave of 46 homes set on 100-foot home sites. Leveraging the area’s natural beauty, the community will boast a serene, wooded, oasis-like setting with meandering wetland trails and innovative, energy-efficient homes with elegant finishes and thoughtfully crafted designs. Situated at the intersection of Spot and Doc Bramblett Roads, Heritage Oaks is within nine miles of GA-400.

“We are excited to add a new community to our portfolio in Cumming,” said David Weekley Homes’ Atlanta Division President Adam Cornett. “Between the energy efficiency of our homes and the scenic beauty of the area, Heritage Oaks will feature a nature-centric vibe. It’s set within two miles of the Big Creek Greenway Trailhead inside the 963-acre Sawnee Mountain Preserve and within six miles of the sparkling waters of Lake Lanier – making it an excellent fit for homebuyers who love connecting with the great outdoors.”

Cornett added that Heritage Oaks homeowners with school-aged children will also enjoy access to excellent Forsyth County Schools, including Sawnee Elementary, Otwell Middle, and Forsyth Central High Schools. The community’s location near Hwy 20 and GA-400 makes it ideal for anyone commuting to the Technology Corridor. When it comes to fun, there’s no shortage in the area, from the eateries and events at Cumming City Center to the shops at Halcyon and Avalon to the south.
