Gwinnett, Buford Schools Make Weather Decision

Gwinnett County Public Schools said in a news alert that schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 17, due to inclement weather, which includes a forecast for icy roads on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, Buford City Schools announced on its website schools would be delayed two hours on Tuesday.

The county is already under a Winter Weather Advisory through Tuesday morning, due to the possibility of ice.

The National Weather Service said black ice is likely to form on area roadways.
