Burglars Steal Computers, Tablet, Mobile Phone and Old Rifle

A local woman found the back door smashed open at her Dacula-area home and several electronic devices were missing.

According to a Gwinnett County Police incident report, the woman said two laptop computers, an iPad, iPhone and rifle were stolen Oct. 24 from her home on Misty Valley Road, located just west of the city of Dacula.

The rifle was an old firearm owned by her father.

The stolen items were valued at $1,600.

Police said a screwdriver found in a bedroom was likely used to break into the home.
