Building Fire In Hiram Impacts Hwy. 92
Paulding County firefighters were on the scene Tuesday morning.

HIRAM, GA — Firefighters were on the scene Tuesday morning of a building fire in downtown Hiram.
The fire was near the intersection of Hwy. 92 and Oak Street, according to Paulding County Fire & Rescue spokesman Lt. Steve Mapes. It was brought under control shortly before 9 a.m., he said.
The burning building was a roughly 4,000 square-foot detached barn and garage.

Rush hour traffic on Hwy. 92 was impacted due to the blaze, Mapes said.
No injuries had been reported as of Tuesday morning.

Crews were expected to remain on the scene for another hour conducting salvage and overhaul operations.
