Today, Dallas and Hiram voters took part in perhaps one of the most important mid-term elections in recent memory, but just as important are several races at the state and local levels.

Here are results as of 11 p.m. of the local votes local votes impacting Dallas and Hiram (*-incumbent):

Mike Dugan* (R) — 72.5%

James Harrison Nixon (D) — 27.5%

State Senate, District 31

Bill Heath* (R) — 73.33%

Charles Winter (D) — 26.67%

State Rep, District 19

Paulette Rakestraw Braddock* (R) — 68.32%

Sandra Fuller (D) — 31.68%

State Rep. District 66

Kimberly Alexander* (D) — 52.82%

Bob Snelling (R) — 47.18%

County Commission Post 2

Todd Pownall* (R) — 70.91%

Patti Smith (D) — 29.09%
