Deputies Fatally Shoot Man After He Allegedly Pulled Out a Gun
Paulding County deputies responded Friday to a domestic dispute when a man pointed gun on them, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Paulding County deputies fatally shot a man Friday while responding to a domestic dispute, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement had responded at 10:30 a.m. Friday to the home on Mount Vernon Church Road regarding a domestic dispute.
At 3:15 p.m., they were standing in the living room, discussing the removal of the man’s child from the home.

Then, the man allegedly pulled a gun from the small of his back and pointed it at the deputies, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The deputies then fired on the 39-year-old, killing him. His name has not been released.

No other injuries were reported.
