Hiram Man Charged with Murder in Shooting Death of Brother

Police have charged the man who allegedly shot his brother to death Monday night in Hiram.

Ronald Duguay Jr., 51, of Hiram, has been charged with murder in the death of Joseph Norman Duguay, 46, who was found dead by police around 7:30 p.m. Monday at 465 Watts Road. He was shot in the chest, police said.

Monday night, police called the shooting a “domestic-related incident between siblings.”

Ronald Duguay was taken into custody as he attempted to flee the scene, police said. He is being held without bond at the Paulding County Detention Center.

Hiram Police Chief Todd Vande Zande said in a Tuesday email no additional info would be released.
