A manhunt is underway for a Hiram man who allegedly shot and killed his wife, then threatened to commit suicide.

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson said Rockwell Thelmon Serrabo, 41, should be considered armed and dangerous. (His photo is attached to this file)

Henson said Paulding County 911 received a call at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday about possible suicide threats at 282 Baywood Way in Hiram. The female caller said her ex-boyfriend called to tell her he had just killed his wife and was going to kill himself.

“The female complainant stated that the current wife was at their residence (on Baywood Way) and that the suspect, Rockwell Thelmon Serrabo, B/M, 41, was enroute to a Sandtown Park in Fulton County,” Henson said in a news release.

Henson said deputies found Serrabo’s wife dead in the Baywood Way residence. She had been shot in the head. She has been identified as Nicole Thomas, 44.

The scene is located in a neighborhood near Hiram High School, which was locked down for a time Wednesday.

Fulton County Police were called to check the park. The suspect’s vehicle (a white Cadillac Escalade) was found unoccupied at the park, and police were actively looking for him.

If you see this suspect, call 911 immediately.
