HIRAM, GA — Two armed robbers, including one wearing a mask from the movie "Scream," robbed the MetroPCS store in Hiram last weekend.
Police say the robbery at the store, at 5337 Wendy Bagwell Pkwy., happened at about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.
That's when two masked men, one of them with a semi-automatic handgun, ran into the store, came behind the front counter and demanded cash from an employee, according to a Hiram Police Department incident report.

The employee gave them money from the cash register, at which point they walked into a back room, demanding to know where the safe and iPhones were.
She and a second employee told them they couldn't access the contents of the safe or cabinet where iPhones are stored, but showed the robbers more money that had been left out.
