Funeral For Slain Cobb County Deputy Marshall Ervin Jr.

The funeral for Cobb County deputy Marshall Ervin Jr., who died while on-duty Sept. 8, will be livestreamed Thursday.

DALLAS, GA — Cobb County deputy Marshall Ervin Jr. will be laid to rest Thursday.

Visitation starts at noon, and the funeral for Ervin begins at 2 p.m. The funeral will be livestreamed on the Cobb County Sheriff's Office YouTube channel.

Deputies Ervin and Jonathan Koleski died Sept. 8, when authorities said they were shot and killed while serving a warrant at a Marietta home.

According to the sheriff's office, a processional for Ervin will leave West Ridge Church, 3522 Hiram Acworth Highway in Dallas, around 4 p.m.
