Georgia Ranks In Top 10 In U.S.Shark Attacks

Georgia ranks nationally among the states with shark attacks, according to data from University of Florida researchers. The state has had four shark attacks in the last decade, none of them fatal. The most recent shark attack in Georgia was in 2014, when a 12-year-old boy was bitten while surfing off Tybee Island, just outside of Savannah.

Forsyth Teen Charged With Homicide In Crash

A 17-year-old Lambert High School student has been charged with vehicular homicide in a crash that killed another teen earlier this month. Natalie D'Allen turned herself in at the Forsyth County Detention Center on Sunday, said sheriff's office spokesman Deputy First Class Doug Rainwater. D'Allen is charged with homicide by vehicle - second degree, failure to yield and driving in violation of license restrictions.

Motorist Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot After Shooting At Cars In Cobb

A motorist is dead after crashing his vehicle, shooting at cars during the Monday evening rush hour and turning the gun on himself, according to Cobb County police. A preliminary investigation by Cobb police indicates that the 30-year-old man was driving erratically on Busbee Parkway near Frey Road when the struck a vehicle, Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce told Patch.
