Toy Drive Set to Honor Cpl. Sam Driskell
The slain corporal was dedicated to protecting abused kids and kids in need in Paulding County.
In memory of Corporal Sam Driskell and his years of outstanding service in the county’s Crimes Against Children Unit, Citizens for a Better Paulding County is sponsoring a stuffed animal and small toy campaign.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office shared info on the drive on Facebook.
The campaign runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through Jan. 30 in the Courthouse Lobby in Dallas.

Toy donations should be marked for the “Crimes Against Children Unit.”
Donated toys will be given to Harbor House, where abused children are taken for interviews during investigations. Collected toys will be given to these children during interviews to comfort them through a frightening experience.

You also can make a monetary donation in Cpl. Driskell’s honor — to either the Officer Relief Fund or the Paulding County Sheriff’s Cops for Kids program.
The campaign is to honor the late corporal for his dedication to protecting abused kids and kids in need in the county.
