Warning: Rocks Thrown at Cars in Paulding
Eight cases of rocks thrown at cars in the Dabbs Bridge Rd area in 2015, including Wed., according to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is warning of rocks thrown at car windshields on Dabbs Bridge Road.
Eight instances have been investigated in the past year in the area of Dripping Rock Trail.
“Although the the days that these incidents have been occurring has been very random, the times have not,” according to a post on Facebook.

“They have been typically occurring between the hours of 11:00 pm and 3:00 am.”
In the latest case early Thursday, a large rock was thrown at a car, smashing its windshield and nearly causing the motorist to crash.

“With tonight being New Years Eve and many motorists being out on the road during the late evening/early morning hours, we want to make sure people are aware of the potential danger,” the post notes.
