• Peeples Cancer Institute providing another mammography option (daily-tribune.com) — Dalton-area residents now have a new way to get screening mammograms, with Peeples Cancer Institute's "Mammography on the go" coach bringing 3D breast imaging directly to workplaces and community sites. The mobile unit uses the same advanced GE Pristina technology as the main Dalton facility, and locals can schedule appointments by phone or email, including day, evening, and weekend options. 
• Isaias Cuts Power to Over 100,000 Georgia Customers After 68 MPH Gust in Macon as Tornado and Flood Threat Targets Metro Atlanta (bananatreenews.today) — Dalton is under a High Wind Warning as Isaias drives 40–60 mph gusts across north and west Georgia, with power outages already widespread elsewhere in the state. Residents are urged to prepare for possible outages, monitor tornado and flash-flood alerts through Sunday, and avoid flooded roads as several inches of rain could push creeks and rivers toward flood stage.
• How gas prices have changed in Georgia in the last week (macon.com) — Drivers in Dalton are paying about $3.74 per gallon for regular gas this week, slightly below the Georgia average of $3.83. A statewide breakdown shows how Dalton compares with other metro areas, while also noting that Georgia currently has the nation's lowest average gas prices despite a large year-over-year increase.
