Rabies vaccine drops scheduled to be distributed across Georgia (wgauradio.com) — Low-flying planes and helicopters will drop oral rabies vaccine baits over Dalton and nearby communities this month as part of a USDA effort to curb wildlife rabies. Between October 7–10, helicopter drops will cover urban and suburban Dalton, so residents may see or find baits but are urged to leave them alone and keep pets' rabies shots current.
