Chapel Hill Student Earns $1,000 Scholarship For Essay
The Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia, Inc. recently presented the award to a Chapel Hill High School graduate.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia, Inc., or COAG, recently presented a second place award to a Chapel Hill High School graduate for the 2018 COAG Scholarship contest.
Kristin Pirkle, a Douglasville resident, received $1,000 in scholarship money for her essay which comes right in time as she prepares for her freshman year at the University of Georgia in Athens.
The check presentation occurred in the Douglas County Courthouse third floor Courthouse Art Gallery.

"It is the distinct honor of the Constitutional Officers' Association of Georgia to award Miss Kristin Pirkle the second-place, $1,000 scholarship this year,” said COAG Executive Director Missy Tolbert. “COAG wishes her much success as she enters college.”
Pirkle, the daughter of Tracey and Doug Pirkle, Jr., was the valedictorian for the Chapel Hill High School's Class of 2018.
