Mrs. Mary Chestine Garmon Wallace, age 80, of Lithia Springs, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She was born in Alpharetta, Georgia, on April 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Horace Clifford Garmon and the late Mary Ann Loner Vandiver. She worked for Hamilton Auto Parts in Atlanta for over 20 years as a Parts Deliverer and for Big Lots for over 8 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Washington “C.W.” Wallace; her daughter, Rebecca Dale Stephens; her sisters, Della Biles and Laverne Cordell.

Survivors include her children: Robert Clarence Wallace and his wife, Linda Sue of Villa Rica, Gail Marie Farr of Ranburne, Alabama, and Alvin Horace Wallace and his wife, Charlotte Marie of Douglasville; brothers: Gene Garmon of Austell and Buck Garmon of Mableton; brother-in-law, Bobby Biles of Lincolnton; grandchildren: Pam and Jesse Haygood, Kent and Kelly Wallace, Kim and Rodney Wade, Nathan and Olivia Farr, Kristina and Tyler Irby, Corey Wallace, and Stacy and Jimmy Sheets; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville with Reverend Pat Aenchbacher officiating. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in the Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 5, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
