10 Candidates Qualify For Johns Creek Elections
The office of mayor and the Post 1, 3 and 5 seats on the City Council will all be contested on the Tuesday, Nov. 7 ballot.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Each race on the Tuesday, Nov. 7 ballot for the Johns Creek City Council will have more than one person vying for the win. That's according to the city, which said qualifying for the upcoming election ended Wednesday afternoon.
Ten candidates qualified this week to seek the office of mayor as well as Posts 1, 3 and 5 on the City Council. Incumbent Mayor Mike Bodker will face off against Alex Marchetti for the office.
For the Post 1 seat, incumbent Lenny Zaprowski will attempt to fight off challenger Issure Chen Yang. The race to fill the Post 3 seat will be a crowded one, as candidates Vicki Horton, Richard “Trey” Holladay, John Bradberry, and Mark Venco have qualified as candidates (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Incumbent Cori Davenport opted not to seek re-election to a second term. Post 5 incumbent Stephanie Endres will duke it out with challenger Chris Jackson.
The deadline for Johns Creek residents to register to vote is Wednesday, Oct. 10. Early voting will be held Oct. 16 through Nov. 3, and early voting locations will be posted on the Fulton County elections website.

Absentee voters can view application information on the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections website. Voters can locate their polling place on the Georgia Secretary of State's website.
