Marietta's Serial Bank Robber Strikes Vinings
The Fidelity Bank on Windy Ridge was robbed Monday by the same man police say has already struck four Marietta banks.
ATLANTA, GA — The Fidelity Bank on Windy Ridge Parkway was robbed on Monday by the same man police believe is responsible for four other similar robberies in Marietta.
Police say the man entered the bank at 12:51 and demanded money from a teller. The teller complied with the demands, and he fled the area after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 5’11” and 6’01” tall, weighing between 170-200 pounds and in his late 30s to early 40s. He has short reddish-brown hair and a full beard, was wearing a striped collared shirt, khaki pants, a tan baseball cap and sunglasses. He was also armed with a black handgun.

Police say the man robbed the Fifth Third Bank at 4209 Roswell Road on February 4; the Regions Bank at 2486 Roswell Road on April 1; the BB&T Bank at 4370 Roswell Road on May 25; and the PNC Bank at 1111 Johnson Ferry Road on July 13.
