Truck Rolls Off Boat Ramp Into Allatoona Lake

Cherokee County crews had to pull a pick-up truck from Allatoona Lake late Thursday morning. Cherokee County firefighters arrived on scene and discovered the truck nearly submerged into the lake.

The female driver of the truck began to back the boat and trailer down the ramp and into the water. Once the male companion gave the driver the all clear, "she proceeded to step on the gas, not realizing the truck was still in reverse," Cherokee County fire said. >>> Read more.
