Starface Aurora Man Jailed For Joliet Gang Shooting
Another of the Star-faced Aurora man's 12 alleged gangster accomplices was also captured Wednesday.

An Aurora man charged with gunning down a rival gangster during a wild east side bar brawl was captured and jailed Wednesday.
Antonio “Starface” Luna, 32, allegedly put bullets in the head, chest, shoulder and belly of 29-year-old Osmar Ruiz Sunday night.
Luna and 12 of his gangster associates headed over to Los Diaz bar on Meeker Avenue to take on four members of a rival gang, police said. During the ensuing fight, Luna and another man—Nicholas Pisano, 25, of Aurora—allegedly shot down Ruiz.

Pisano remains at large but the police have rounded up nine other men besides Luna, most recently arresting Alejandro Lara-Leyva, 19, of Aurora on Wednesday.
Ruiz, who was living in Bolingbrook when he was last arrested in 2014, suffered “very life-threatening” wounds in the gun attack but remains alive three days later.
