“I’m her husband.” They were the last words witnesses heard before Gladys Tordil was gunned down sitting in her SUV in a high school parking lot.

Police have accused her estranged husband, Eulalio Tordil, of shooting her May 5 before turning the gun on a good Samaritan. In all, he is accused of killing three people and injuring three others before he was arrested.

The American dream for Haitian immigrant Alix Idrache, who now calls New Carrollton home, was to serve his new country in the military.

Deadly Silicone Butt Injections Earned Man $1.5M: Guilty Plea

A man charged with first-degree in Prince George’s County after he reportedly injected a woman’s buttocks with silicone to increase their size – a procedure which a medical examiner says killed her – has pleaded guilty to lesser federal charges in exchange for dismissal of the murder charge. According to his plea agreement, at $500 per treatment, the man’s mid-range fee, proceeds from the illegal injections total at least $1,598,000.»»Read more.

Bulletproof Vests Could Become Firefighter Gear After 2 Shootings

The death of a firefighter shot by a disoriented resident whom rescuers were trying to check on has prompted the Prince George’s County Fire Department to start shopping — for bulletproof vests.

Firefighter/paramedic John “Skillet” Ulmschneider, 37, died April 15, and Morningside Volunteer firefighter Kevin Swain, 19, was shot four times during a welfare check that went wrong in Temple Hills.»»Read more.
