ICYMI: Annapolis Police Plan Cinco de Mayo DUI Checkpoint

Line up a sober driver for Tuesday night; Annapolis Police will conduct DUI checks May 5 on West Street.

If your Cinco de Mayo plans include a few drinks, line up a designated driver or risk arrest.

The Annapolis Police Department will conduct a DUI checkpoint on Tuesday, May 5, on West Street near Amos Garrett Boulevard. Police say the checkpoint will run from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Additional officers will be patrolling to look for impaired drivers throughout the city, the department says.
