• Annual Habitat for Humanity auction raises over $42,000 (wvnews.com) — A recently completed Habitat for Humanity building project in Mountain Lake Park marks a major milestone as the group prepares its next home build in nearby Loch Lynn Heights. The annual auction in Oakland raised over $42,000, helping fund 20–25% of the next house and supporting Habitat's mission to provide affordable housing for lower-income Garrett County families. Residents can still volunteer or apply to partner with Habitat.
