The suspects, from Keyser, Frostburg, and Lonaconing, now face multiple drug and ammunition charges and were taken to the Garrett County Detention Center for bond hearings. 
• Two arrested in Deer Park for fentanyl and methamphetamine possession (mdstatewire.com) — A traffic stop in Deer Park led to drug charges for two people, including an Oakland resident accused of possessing fentanyl, underscoring ongoing narcotics enforcement affecting Oakland and nearby towns. The Garrett County Narcotics Task Force and Sheriff’s Office say they continue targeting drug offenses along routes like Garrett Highway while encouraging residents to share tips that can improve safety in and around Oakland.
• Oakland man arrested for felony theft after unfinished restoration work (mdstatewire.com) — An Oakland man has been arrested on felony theft charges after allegedly taking tens of thousands of dollars for restoration work at a condominium complex that was never completed. Garrett County detectives are asking anyone in Oakland or across Maryland who hired the same contractor and suspects similar problems to contact the Sheriff’s Office or the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.
