4 Retailers Coming To Mill Station In Owings Mills
One of the retailers coming to Owings Mills has no other locations in Maryland.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Four new tenants have been announced at Mill Station, the retail development that is under construction at the site of the former Owings Mills Mall. They will offer everything from clothing to home goods.
The tenants announced this week include Burlington Coat Factory, Five Below, Homesense and Marshalls.
The four new stores will open by spring 2019, according to a statement from Baltimore County.

Homesense is a new home goods store that is operated by the same company that owns T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods. There are only six stores in the U.S. so far, located in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey
The concept is similar to HomeGoods, with more emphasis on furniture, lighting, art and gifts, according to Massachusetts Patch, which says Homesense features a section with cleaning supplies and hardware too.

“Mill Station is really coming together," County Council Chair Julian E. Jones Jr. said in a statement. The development falls within the district of the councilman, who continued: "These new stores will be a great addition for Owings Mills and Randallstown residents."
The stores are the latest in a series of retailers that have made plans to plant roots at the new shopping center that is being developed off Mill Run Circle. Previously, officials reported that Costco and Lowe's would be coming to Mill Station as anchor tenants.
Costco is slated for an opening in August 2018, report county officials. Its 148,000-square-foot space is currently under construction.
Lowe's — which will be nearly as large as Costco, at 132,825 square feet — will open in January 2019, according to authorities.
Tenants already located at Mill Station are AMC Theatres, Chido’s Tex-Mex Grill, Greene Turtle, Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Red Robin, Baltimore County officials report.

Kimco Realty is developing Mill Station, which authorities say will encompass 640,000 square feet when it is complete.
“The $108 million investment in Mill Station adds to the more than $1 billion of recent private investment in Owings Mills,” Baltimore County Executive Don Mohler said in a statement.
The Owings Mills Mall on Mill Run Circle locked its doors in September 2015 and has since been demolished. Mill Station is the new open-air shopping center that is being built in its place.
Construction work produced by the project will bring 250 jobs to the area, officials say.
