Arlington Arrest Logs: OUI, Outstanding Warrant

ARLINGTON, MA — The following are two arrests from the Arlington arrest logs. The information below was provided by the Arlington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Christopher Nelson, 21, of Day St. in Fitchburg was arrested on a charge of fugitive of justice on a court warrant on Oct. 10 at 9:41 p.m. Nelson was arrested after officers responded to a call of parties gathered in the Buzzell Field parking lot possibly consuming alcohol. Officers could not determine that the group was drinking, but noticed a twelve pack of beer in the vehicle where the group was located. Upon asking for the group's IDs, it was discovered that Nelson had a warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody without incident.
Elizabeth Doherty, 41, of Revere Street in Arlington was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence of liquor for a first offense on Oct. 25 at 1:54 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle that had suffered heavy front end damage on Mass Ave. According to police, Doherty had stated she was involved in an accident at work. Officers later conducted a field sobriety test as well as a breathalyzer test, where police say she had a blood alcohol content of .234.
