A Rockland man will spend the rest of his life in prison after admitting to stabbing his wife and “watching her die” in the driveway of their home. Richard Langley, 57, stabbed his wife, Patricia, six times on June 11, 2014 at their home at 189 Moncrief Rd.

Car Repair Shop Owner Busted on Heroin Charges
Collin Emerson, 37, of Weymouth was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, subsequent offense; possession of heroin, subsequent offense; conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act; and possession of a Class E drug. Detectives recovered several grams of heroin, $6,000 in cash, a few prescription pills, and materials for packaging heroin for sale from Emerson’s business.
Drug Distribution Arrest at Motel 6
Two Lowell men were arrested on drug distribution and possession charges after observing a drug transaction at Motel 6 on Tuesday. Detectives were conducting surveillance when they observed a drug transaction at the Motel 6. Both individuals were taken into custody.

Wareham Man Killed in Shooting Was Hit ‘Multiple Times’
A 70-year-old Wareham man was found shot to death in his home this week. Police said on Tuesday at about noon, they were called to his residence for a well-being check. Officers found his body upon entering the home. He was shot “multiple times,” police said.
