• Midwest, Northeast towns dominate study of Best Small Cities in America (cleveland.com) — Arlington has been named one of the top 10 small cities in America in WalletHub's 2026 rankings, highlighting its strong quality-of-life and regional appeal. The study compared over 1,300 cities on affordability, economic health, education, safety, and amenities, with several Massachusetts communities, including Lexington and Milton, also placing high on the list.
   

• Judge approves $18M sale of former Girl Scout camp in Meredi... (unionleader.com) — An Arlington-based trust has received court approval to sell its longtime former Girl Scout camp on Lake Winnipesaukee for $18 million, well above its assessed value. The Camp Menotomy property, once owned by the Girl Scouts of Arlington, will be redeveloped into seven waterfront homes, with part of the land reserved for conservation trails and historical markers.
