Massachusetts School Closings For Friday Jan 5 Blizzard
As Massachusetts gets slammed by a "bomb cyclone," some districts have already called another snow day.

The "bomb cyclone" has landed in Massachusetts, and while the worst is yet to come, some school districts aren't taking any chances. Amid forecasts calling for wind gusts of up to 50-70 miles per hour and as much as 12-15 inches of snow, school has already been canceled Friday in some communities.
Eastern Massachusetts is expected to get the brunt of the storm, while the central and western parts of the state could see anywhere from 4-8 inches when all is said and done. Snow is expected to fall through the evening, finishing around 10 p.m. This means many districts may see back-to-back snow days.
